Accompanying Persons

Guests are welcome to join delegates at social events ONLY. Please indicate, as appropriate, when you register to attend Congress. Accompanying persons will not be permitted to Congress sessions.


Charity Status

The Palliative Care Congress is a registered charity and as such does all it can to promote the advancement of education in palliative and supportive care. The Congress obtains a level of sponsorship to assist in the costs involved in the planning and holding of this event and does all it can to minimise the cost to delegates.

Dress Code 

The dress code for Congress is informal



A trade exhibition will run throughout Congress.



The organisers do not accept responsibility for individual medical, travel or personal insurance and delegates are strongly advised to take out their own personal insurance policies.



Posters will be on display for the duration of Congress and will be displayed in number order and by theme.  Please refer to the conference brochure provided within your conference pack upon arrival for the full listing of themes for the poster display. 

There will be a flashdrive in your conference pack which will contain the full abstracts. This will also be available to view as an online supplement of the Palliative Medicine Journal. 



In accordance with legislation in Scotland, smoking is prohibited in all internal areas of the venue.
