Sustainability

Our Commitment to Sustainability

We are committed to running responsible, low‑impact events and continuously improving the way we reduce waste, reuse materials, and support local communities.

Reducing Waste Through Re‑use

We actively recycle and re‑use event badges and lanyards wherever possible. Any badges or lanyards that are returned in good condition are carefully washed and reused at future events, significantly reducing single‑use plastics and unnecessary waste.

Responsible Food Management

We work hard to minimise food waste at every event. Where food is left uneaten and safe for redistribution, we donate it to a foodbank local to the event venue, helping to support the local community and reduce landfill waste.

Any leftover food from PCC 2026 was donated to Fareshare UK

Sustainable Catering Choices

To cut down on disposable materials, we:

  • Use china cups and plates wherever available
  • Use fully recyclable cups and plates when china is not an option

This ensures that all catering materials are either reusable or responsibly disposed of.

Paperless by Design

All of our events are paperless, from registration and communications through to on‑site delivery. This reduces paper consumption, printing, and transport emissions while providing a smoother digital experience for attendees.

Always Improving

Sustainability is an ongoing journey. We regularly review our practices and work closely with venues and suppliers to find new ways to reduce our environmental impact while delivering high‑quality events.
